Karaoke has been a part of Restaurant Penang since 1990, way back before it became a popular form of entertainment in Sweden. Our passion for music and the support from many satisfied guests during all these years are what have kept our Karaoke going and made it into one of the most popular in Gothenburg. We thank all our guests that have recommended us and kept believing in us.
Today we have one of the largest karaoke collections, with millions of songs in 80 different languages. From jazz to hard rock, from pop to classical, from ballads to hip-hop – our collections fit all different tastes in music. We keep updating our collections with the help of our guests’ wish lists, and we keep discover new artists and songs all the time.
To combine your bachelor/bachelorette party, office party, birthday party, Christmas dinner or similar with karaoke is always an excellent addition to an already great event. No matter if you are a pro or a beginner, know how to sing or not, the most important thing for us is that our guests find it fun to sing. Our motto is: “Come as a guest, leave as a karaoke star!” So why not become a star for once? Everyone in audience who sings along is as equally welcome on stage as the ones who are on.
